Mendota Burn Pit

 

The City of Mendota offers a pit to burn yard waste only. 

 

Burn Pit Location:

The city burn pit is located south of the Mendota sewage treatment plant located at 1201 S 7th Ave.

Burn Pit will open Monday, April 6, 2026

Burn Pit Hours:

Monday:  3 - 6pm

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 10am - 1pm

Closed Wednesday and Sunday
