The City of Mendota is fortunate to have over 325 acres of parkland, of which 71 are lakeside. The Parks provide space for play and recreational sports. Lake Mendota and Lake Kakusha provide opportunities such as fishing and kayaking for residents to enjoy.
Park/Shelter Rental:
To reserve park space or shelters, contact the City Clerk's Office at 815-539-7459.
Remembrance trees and benches:
Many of our parks have opportunities for trees and benches to be sponsored in memory of a love one.
Form for sponsorship can be found HERE.
