MASS is a not-for-profit corporation formed to act as an umbrella agency to coordinate and introduce programs and services for seniors over the age of 60 as well as persons with disabilities with the purpose of helping to improve the quality of life and to attain their highest level of independence.

MASS offers a lot to offer, such services include:
Senior Health Insurance Program (S.H.I.P.)
If you need assistance with Medicare, Supplemental Insurance, Med D plans, LIS, Medicaid applications, Benefit Access Applications, or Subsidy Recertification, MASS can help. Trained staff members are available by appointment. For assistance or to set up an appointment, call the MASS office at 815-539-7700.
Outreach Canvassing
All participants who qualify for the Benefit Access program, formerly Circuit Breaker, are able to file their application for the discount on their license plate sticker. A one-time discount of $75 will be given each year. Call Mendota Area Senior Services at 815-539-7700 to schedule an appointment. MASS will also have an Outreach worker available at the monthly outreach sites in Leland, Earlville, Sandwich, Sheridan and Somonauk to provide assistance with applications. MASS continually canvasses door-to-door throughout the ten township area. MASS is happy to assist any person over the age of 60, or persons with disabilities, in obtaining access to the services available to them. MASS does not solicit funds in this program.

Aging and Disability Resource Network Partner Agencies (ADRN)
A collaborative partnership of community agencies who served older adults and/or adults 18 years of age or older with a disability. Any adult may access Information and Assistance to understand what community services may be available to meet their needs at any of these agencies and receive referrals and follow up assistance to access services they need.
