As the City works on revitalization efforts, we understand the importance to support current and new businesses. To support businesses, the City has the following:

• Partnered with Rural Networks to provide support with business planning, sustainability and marketing. 

• Established a Business Association that meets every other month to provide tips, city updates, and networking opportunities. Meetings are 4th Thursday of every other month. First month is March 2026. 

• Conducting a "Shop Mendota" campaign to showcase local businesses and promote shop local. Campaign to start March 2026.
